Summary

In June 1967, an observer in Security, Colorado, reported an unusual aerial object. It appeared as a long, bubble-like shape, five times longer than it was wide, and was white in color. The object remained visible for three hours, even through cloudy conditions. Binoculars were used to observe it more closely, but no photographs were taken and no physical evidence was found. The official conclusion suggested the possibility of a high-altitude balloon, though it was not confirmed.

The report was reviewed by various institutions, including the Air Force and the University of Colorado, and balloon-launching organizations were contacted to rule out that explanation. Although some balloons were identified in the area, none matched the sighting. Ultimately, the case remained unresolved, with the cause of the sighting declared unknown.
