🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1963, an air traffic controller at Johnston Island, Hawaii, reported a luminous phenomenon that he observed for over two hours. The object appeared as a bright white round light slowly rising in the sky. Although several witnesses confirmed the sighting, there was no physical evidence or photographs. The Air Force concluded that the phenomenon could have been the planet Jupiter, although the witnesses did not identify it as such. The official report requested more details, but none were obtained. The UFO description was clear and detailed, which generated some controversy in the case evaluation.
