🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1963, a woman called Norton Air Force Base to report a UFO. Her account was incoherent and she refused to provide her address or phone number, so the incident was initially dismissed. However, days later, researchers from the University of Colorado and local academics interviewed witnesses, including children, who described a round object with red and orange lights emitting a sound similar to the TV show "The Invaders." Dogs barked and one witness experienced a tingling sensation that made their hair stand on end.
The investigation concluded that the sound might have come from an electric siren of a search and rescue team passing nearby. Additionally, a light plane landed at Tri-City Airport around the same time, possibly explaining the light path. Although a helicopter wasn't ruled out, there were no radar records or weather balloons in the area. Ultimately, the plane and rescue siren were considered possible explanations for the sighting.
