Unidentified Stationary Object in Miamisburg Ohio

Summary

In February 1968, a witness in Miamisburg, Ohio, reported a luminous object flashing red, white, and green. The object remained stationary but moved in a circular pattern. The observation lasted 20 minutes, with the object located at an elevation of about 55 degrees. Although initially considered a possible astronomical phenomenon like the star Altair, the report concluded that the sighting could not be definitively explained. As part of Project Blue Book, the Air Force requested additional details from the witness for further evaluation.
