An observer in Bay City, Michigan, reported a golden cigar-shaped unidentified object in March 1968. The object appeared suddenly and moved rapidly northward, following a straight path before making a sharp downward turn and disappearing. The witness described it as bright orange and about the size of a coin. The event occurred at an altitude of approximately 49 degrees above the horizon and lasted about 60 seconds. Despite investigations, no conventional explanation was found. The report includes weather conditions and a request for additional information from local authorities, who reported no other sightings in the area.
