In March 1968, a witness in Kettering, Ohio, reported seeing an unidentified object for approximately three minutes. The observer described the object as orange in color and resembling the beams of a flashlight. Although the report mentions the object was seen twice, for durations of three and two minutes respectively, the information provided was insufficient for a scientific evaluation. The Air Force requested the witness to complete a detailed form, but no response was received. This case highlights the difficulty the Air Force faced in obtaining concrete data on unidentified flying object sightings.
