🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1968, a witness in St. Louis, Missouri, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon. The observer described a flickering yellow light in the southeast sky, which appeared square or rectangular and remained stationary for about a minute before disappearing. Although it was suggested the object could be a hot air balloon or a conventional object, no conclusive explanation was given. The witness provided a detailed description, though no noises, smells, or physical effects were recorded. The Air Force requested additional information for a technical evaluation.
