🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1968, a witness in Walbash, Illinois, reported observing an unidentified flying object. According to the report, the phenomenon was seen during the early morning hours of June 21, with two sightings recorded at 3:15 and 3:30 AM. However, the data provided by the witness were contradictory: one indicated a duration of 25 seconds, while the other mentioned 27 minutes and claimed the object was moving south. These inconsistencies led to the case being classified as "conflicting data." The report suggests the witness might have been observing satellites, but due to the inconsistencies in their testimony, no clear conclusion was reached. The official Blue Book Project document, which collected UFO reports, filed the case without resolution, highlighting the importance of cross-verifying testimonies.
