🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An observer reported in 1968 the sighting of a metallic disc-shaped object moving in a southeast direction. The phenomenon was observed for approximately 8 seconds and crossed about 50 degrees of arc in the sky. Despite subsequent investigations, no physical evidence or additional testimonies were found to confirm the presence of the object. Researchers concluded it could have been debris carried by the wind, given the direction and speed of the wind in the area at that time.
The lack of testimonies or reports of other sightings along the estimated path of the object, together with the recorded weather conditions, led to the case being classified as possible debris carried by the wind. Although the observer stated visibility was unlimited, weather records indicated there was overcast an hour before the sighting. This discrepancy adds a touch of mystery to the case, although natural explanations are not ruled out.
