🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1968, a witness in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, reported seeing seven white lights in the sky. These appeared to the west, at about 20 degrees elevation, and moved northeast for approximately 10 to 15 minutes before disappearing. The observer heard no noise and concluded they were not high-flying aircraft, as no vapor trails were visible. The angular velocity of the lights was compared to that of the Echo I satellite, adding an intriguing element to this case.
The report, part of Project 10073, does not include photos or physical evidence, but it does provide a clear description of the phenomenon. The testimony was officially recorded, and the report notes that sunrise occurred at 6:56 EDT. Although no conclusive explanation was reached, the case remains an interesting example of a noiseless, traceless UFO observation.
