🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1968, an 11-year-old girl in Riverdale, New York, observed a mysterious object hovering over the George Washington Bridge for 90 minutes. The phenomenon remained stationary in the northwest, about 15 feet above the bridge, and changed color from white to orange and pink. The witness described it as solid and unlike any known aircraft or object. Despite attempts to photograph it, the object disappeared behind a cloud. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for a scientific analysis.
The official report found no conclusive evidence, but the girl's detailed description suggests a clear and persistent visual experience. The lack of physical evidence or additional witnesses complicated the investigation, though the sighting remains a curious case in UFO history.
