🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian in Delmar, New York, reported in 1968 the observation of an object with multicolored lights (red, green, yellow, and bright white) that remained nearly stationary in the sky for over an hour. The observer saw it visually from the ground but did not take photos or leave physical evidence. Despite the detailed description, authorities concluded there was insufficient data to evaluate the phenomenon. The report suggests it could have been an astronomical object, but the duration and apparent stillness of the object raised doubts. The contact with the observer included an official letter from the military requesting further details for a technical investigation.
