🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1968, a witness in Waterloo, Illinois, reported a phenomenon that appeared as a rectangular white light in the east. The object remained visible for about two minutes before disappearing toward the southeast. The official conclusion suggested it could have been a hot air balloon, given the description and weather conditions at the time. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, the testimony includes details about the perceived distance, speed, and the absence of noise or effects in the surrounding area.
