🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1968, two air traffic controllers in Bismarck, North Dakota, reported observing two luminous objects moving in opposite directions. One traveled north, the other south, with the latter disappearing in the northeast. The observers, experienced in air traffic, described the objects as bright, white, with sharp edges and a solid appearance. Although initially considered possible satellites or balloons, the objects' agility and unusual behavior suggested they were not conventional. The Air Force investigated the case but reached no definitive conclusion.
The report notes that the objects did not follow typical movement patterns of stars or aircraft, and their sudden behavior raised doubts about their nature. Despite the witnesses' experience, there was no physical evidence or associated sounds, complicating identification. The case was filed without resolution, but it remains an example of how unidentified aerial phenomena can challenge conventional understanding.
