🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1968, a witness in Minnesota reported a bright yellow object in the sky that appeared stationary. The object was initially seen as a star, but over time it was noted to rise slowly in the sky. While driving, the witness lost sight of it, but upon arriving at her destination, she saw it again, this time at an altitude of about 90 degrees. Suddenly, the object moved rapidly across the sky to about 60 degrees, without leaving a trail or making noise. The witness described the movement as extremely fast, similar to lightning. The report, considered too old for formal investigation, offers a detailed account of an unusual UFO experience.
The object showed no characteristics of a natural phenomenon or a conventional aircraft. Its translucency and horizontal shape intrigued the witness, who noted it had no tail or smoke. The report includes a detailed description of the location, time, and sky conditions, adding credibility to the observation. Despite the U.S. Air Force considering the case too old for investigation, the testimony reflects a clear and coherent experience that fits the profile of many UFO reports.
