In July 1952, multiple witnesses in Morocco and French West Africa reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. One eyewitness in Dakar described a flying saucer emitting blue and reddish flames, observed at 6:08 AM. According to the account, the object was flat and tapered, moving rapidly at low altitude, causing the stars to temporarily disappear from the sky. In another incident, two police officers in Morocco saw two elongated saucers with a white light trail traveling from north to south.
The testimonies also included descriptions of blue-green, ball-shaped objects that vanished mysteriously, as if melting into the sky. In another case, a luminous object was seen by forty people near Casablanca. These sightings, published in local newspapers, generated curiosity and concern at the time, though no official explanations were provided.
