🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1969, a witness in St. Louis, Missouri, reported a strange aerial phenomenon that appeared as a yellow, pink, and orange light. The object moved rapidly from the northeast to the southwest and disappeared within seconds. Although the initial report lacked photographs or physical evidence, the observer's account was recorded under Project 10073. The description suggested the object was not a typical meteor, as its trajectory and color were unusual. The lack of additional details made it difficult to classify the phenomenon, prompting investigators to request more information from the witness.
The report also indicated that the observer saw the phenomenon with the naked eye from the ground, and no other witnesses were present at the time. Despite the brief sighting, the case was deemed intriguing enough to be officially documented by air force authorities. However, no definitive conclusion was reached regarding the nature of the object, leaving open the possibility that it was an unidentified phenomenon.
