UFO sighted in St. Louis in 1969

Summary

An observer in St. Louis, Missouri, reported seeing two lights in the northeast in May 1969. Initially, one of the lights faded, while the other was identified as Venus, which moved from one horizon to another during the sighting. The report notes that at the beginning of the sighting, Venus was on the horizon with an azimuth of 0°, and at the end, it was at an elevation of 10° and an azimuth of 87°. Although the phenomenon was recorded, no conclusive physical evidence was found. The case was analyzed by Project 10073, which concluded that the object could not be definitively identified.
