🇪🇸 Ejército del Aire
In July 1978, during a night exercise by the Spanish Army in Mazarrón (Murcia), a group of soldiers reported an unusual aerial phenomenon. According to the report, a red light accompanied by white and green lights followed the team for two hours, remaining silent and at low altitude. The witnesses walked toward the light, which also advanced, circumventing obstacles without making noise. The detailed description includes blinking lights and erratic movements without a fixed formation.
The official investigation found no conventional explanation. Although a weather station antenna was mentioned in the area, the soldiers insisted it wasn't the source of confusion. The only available document is a 1993 note confirming no further records exist on the incident. This case, now declassified, remains an unsolved mystery in Spanish military archives.
