🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1952, a U.S. Air Force officer filed a report on an unidentified aerial object sighted near New York. The incident occurred on the night of the 26th, when two qualified observers reported seeing a red, glowing object moving slowly without a visible trail. The object made no sound or emissions, making it difficult to explain with conventional phenomena. One of the observers held a private pilot's license, adding credibility to the account.
The report details that the object was seen for approximately an hour, described as triangular and with unpredictable movement. Despite the lack of local air traffic and the use of observation equipment, the object could not be identified. This case, like many from the era, was classified and remained in military archives for decades until it was declassified and became part of the extensive material available for researchers and UFO enthusiasts.
