In November 1966, a witness in Palos Verdes, California, saw an object with multicolored lights. The object, about three-quarters the size of a 707 jet, was moving east-southeast and displayed red, green, pink, and white lights. The observer stopped his car to watch it more closely, but when it approached, it vanished behind buildings. It made no noise, raising doubts about its identity. The description didn't match a conventional aircraft.
The witness, a doctor, insisted it wasn't a balloon or an optical illusion. He noted the lights blinked irregularly and the object had a clear shape but no tail or exhaust. Although others might have seen it, there was no confirmation. The case was classified as "possibly an aircraft," but the object's unusual features and behavior remain puzzling.
