🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1952, a sighting in Illinois caught the attention of air authorities. A white object was seen as a luminous streak that later took an oval shape. It moved at great speed and high altitude, without radar detection. The observation was made by Mrs. Goodman, who reported the phenomenon to the GOC Post. Despite no aircraft being recorded in the area, the report did not reach a clear conclusion, ruling out balloons and other conventional objects. Weather conditions included fog and high clouds, complicating identification. The officer in charge, Captain Frank J. Radosikinas, evaluated the case as "F-3", indicating it could not be explained by known phenomena.
