🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1967, a witness in Springfield, Ohio, reported an unidentified flying object that was intensely bright. The observer turned off their engine and used a flashlight to illuminate the object, which changed colors multiple times and appeared to be rotating. Although no noise was heard, the object maintained its height and followed the observer at a distance. The sighting lasted 10 minutes, and the object was estimated to be between 250 and 350 feet high.
The Air Force requested additional information from the witness, including details about possible high-tension wires in the area and the object's appearance. The possibility of the phenomenon being related to a plasma discharge was considered, but no definitive explanation was reached. The case was filed without a clear resolution, adding another mystery to the already extensive list of UFO sightings.
