🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1967, a teenager in Dayton, Ohio, reported an unusual aerial phenomenon that caught his attention due to its brightness and erratic movement. The sighting, part of Project Blue Book, described an object zigzagging slowly across the night sky. The observer, aged 16, saw the phenomenon for about 40 minutes from Patterson and Fifth streets. Although he described it as glowing like a torch and leaving a trail, authorities concluded there was insufficient data for a definitive evaluation.
The report includes sketches by the witness showing the object's path, though no photos or physical evidence were collected. The form was sent to the observer for confirmation, but no response was received. Despite the lack of additional data, the case reflects the curiosity and mystery surrounding UFO sightings in the 1960s.
