🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, a U.S. Air Force pilot spotted an unidentified object near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The object, described as round and slightly larger than an F-8 fighter jet, was moving at an estimated speed of 403 miles per hour. The witness observed the object flying straight and level before disappearing in a northerly direction. Weather conditions were clear, with a mostly cloudless sky, which increased the credibility of the sighting. The report, classified and later declassified, includes a sworn statement from the witness, who provided precise details about the time, location, and characteristics of the object.
The report was processed by air intelligence and considered a reliable observation. Despite efforts to identify the object, no conventional explanation was found. This case is one of many that make up the Air Force's UFO files, which have been the subject of study and debate for decades. The description of the object, along with the consistency of the testimony, makes it an interesting case for researchers of unidentified aerial phenomena.
