In August 1958, military radar detected two unidentified flying objects near Osel Island and the Gulf of Finland. One moved slowly with an undulating path, while another, faster object approached and both disappeared. A missile and drone were considered but not confirmed. The area is strategic and the report remained classified for 12 years.
