🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1967, a witness in Los Gatos, California, described an object shaped like an inverted bowl, white and red, with a regular blinking pattern. The sighting occurred under a clear, moonless sky, at an estimated altitude of between 100 and 1000 feet. The object moved slowly toward Earth and disappeared behind a house. The witness took photographs and offered to share them with authorities. Although the report was sent to Project Blue Book, the official response stated that the provided information was insufficient for a scientific evaluation. The witness was asked to complete an additional form for further analysis.
The testimony included details about the object's shape, color, and behavior, but lacked technical data for a precise assessment. The Air Force response thanked the observer and requested a supplementary form to gather more information. Despite the lack of definitive conclusions, the case remains an example of the hundreds of reports analyzed during the Project Blue Book era.
