UFO overflying Brasilia in 1991

Summary

In 1991, a military police lieutenant in Brasilia observed a bright oval-shaped object flying over the Presidential Palace. The object, which shifted between blue and red colors, was seen by at least 20 police officers and attracted the attention of passersby who stopped to watch. The phenomenon lasted around 20 minutes before disappearing into a mist. The radar of the Integrated Air Defense and Air Traffic Control Center (Cindacta) recorded the event, indicating the object had a speed of 700 km/h and a rectangular shape on the screen. Although initially thought to be an aircraft, none were identified in the area. This case is one of the most documented UFO sightings in Brazilian history.
