Summary

In August 1960, a 10-year-old boy observed a bright yellow sphere during a violent storm. The luminous ball moved slowly in a straight line, stopped above a nearby roof, returned to its starting point, and disappeared behind the trees. The testimony, reported decades later, was analyzed by the Lightning Laboratory, which classified it as a typical case of ball lightning. Although the witness suspected this phenomenon immediately, the lack of an exact date prevents a formal verification of the hypothesis. The description of the environment, with a very low and almost dark sky, is consistent with a storm accompanied by an Arcus, a common occurrence in such conditions.
