🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1956, several observers in Eabolsar, Iran, reported unusual vapor trails in the sky. These phenomena, seen at high altitude, generated interest among U.S. military authorities. Although initially considered as possible unidentified flying objects, later analysis pointed to a more conventional explanation. The vapor trails were likely attributed to jet aircraft, specifically models such as the BALG and FLASHLIGHT, which could have left such trails without the aircraft itself being seen. The lack of binoculars hindered a clear identification, but experts concluded there were no significant anomalous elements in the reports.
The AFCIN-4F division reviewed the case and determined there was no need to consider the sightings as supernatural or extraterrestrial. It was highlighted that, with proper tools like binoculars, observers could have more accurately identified the type of aircraft involved. Ultimately, the case was classified as non-significant and archived without further investigation. Despite initial uncertainty, the available data supported a conventional interpretation related to aerial activity in the region.
