In October 1961, a witness in Brooklyn, New York, reported the sighting of two unidentified flying objects. These appeared in the northern sky and moved in opposite directions: one from east to west and another from south to north. The objects were self-luminous, yellow in color, and had a translucent appearance. According to the witness, they were the size of marbles or baseballs at arm's length. No photographs or radar data were recorded, and the only report arrived two months after the event, limiting the possibility of gathering more information. The official report concluded that there was insufficient data to determine the nature of the objects.
The witness, a civilian, described in detail the appearance and movement of the objects, stating they were not searchlights or natural phenomena. Despite the lack of confirmation from other witnesses or technical data, he insisted the objects were solid and under intelligent control. The official report did not reach a definitive conclusion, but highlighted the uniqueness of the sighting. The testimony, although singular, provided a clear visual description that did not easily fit into conventional categories.
